Description of a design

On the car one-disk, dry coupling, with the central press spring and the hydraulic drive is established. It is established on a flywheel, in the aluminum case fixed on the block of cylinders. Coupling is constantly closed included); it is switched off by pressing a coupling switching off pedal.

Coupling is intended for smooth connection of a bent shaft of the engine with transmission at start-off of the car from the place and for their separation at gear shifting. It protects transmission details from breakages at dynamic loadings. For this purpose on the conducted clutch plate the damper (a quencher of tortional fluctuations) is mounted.

Coupling consists of the leader and conducted parts and the drive of switching off.

The leading part of coupling – non-demountable knot ("basket") includes three main details: casing of coupling, press disk and diaphragm press spring. A working surface of a press disk polished, with not planeness no more than 0,06 mm.

The leading part of coupling is balanced. The admissible imbalance should not exceed 250 кгс.мм.

The conducted part of coupling is located on vents of the leading (primary) shaft of the transmission. It represents the conducted disk assembled with frictional overlays and a quencher of tortional fluctuations (damper). The conducted disk – steel, is divided by radial cuts into twelve sectors which are bent serially in different directions. To sectors of the conducted disk, independently from each other priklepana two frictional slips. The conducted disk is connected to the nave through the damper extinguishing tortional fluctuations of transmission at sharp changes of loading. At wear of frictional slips (when distance from a slip surface to rivets less than 0,2 mm) it is expedient to replace a disk new assembled as by this time elements of a damper and other details, as a rule, wear out. A disk also we replace at a beating in a zone of slips more than 0,5 mm, their buckling, cracking, oiling (an oil leak through cuffs from the engine or the transmission).

The hydraulic drive of switching off of coupling consists of the main cylinder of switching off of coupling, the "working" cylinder, a fork, the coupling, the bearing, a tank and a pedal of switching off of coupling. The tank and hydraulic cylinders of the drive are connected among themselves by pipelines. In a hydraulic actuator of coupling brake fluid is used.
