5.5.5. Dismantling and repair of the case of butterfly valves

By the crosswise screw-driver it is turned off two screws of fastening of the plug …

… also we remove it together with the screw of adjustment of amount of mix.

We remove laying from the plug and we unscrew the screw, having counted quantity of its turns. Having removed a sealing ring from the screw, we wash out it in acetone and we blow compressed air.

The thin screw-driver we wrap the quality screw against the stop, having written down quantity of the turns made at the same time, and then completely we turn out the screw …

… also we take out it. Having removed from it a rubber sealing ring, we wash out the screw in acetone and we blow compressed air.

… and zolotnik of system of ventilation of a case of the engine. Remember situation in which it is established on an axis that at assembly it is correct to establish it.

Carefully we wash out a zolotnik and the case of butterfly valves in acetone or solvent then we blow channels of the case compressed air.

Having slightly opened gates, we check a condition of transitional openings, if necessary we clean them a thin copper wire.

We assemble the case of butterfly valves as it should be, the return to dismantling, paying special attention to the correct position of levers to axes.

Before tightening of a nut we are convinced that the lever limiter is located below a ledge of the lever of a butterfly valve of the second camera.

The screw of quality is wrapped into place against the stop (previously having moistened its rubber ring with engine oil) and we turn off, having made the quantity of turns which is written down when dismantling.
The screw of quantity is wrapped on the quantity of turns counted earlier.
For reliable work of system of idling butterfly valves have to close the channels densely, without gap. Hardly noticeable crack which can be seen only at a view of light is allowed. Sometimes it is possible to eliminate a gap, having changed position of the gate in an axis cut. But do it usually as a last resort. The carburetor of the new car, as a rule, does not need such adjustment.

Having slightly opened the gate, by a file it is ground off a carving part of screws – at assembly they are kontrit, rumpling a carving. Assembly will require new screws.

By the crosswise screw-driver it is turned off two screws and we replace them new.

We weaken the persistent screw of the lever of the gate. Changing position of the gate, we try to obtain the smallest gap on all its perimeter.
For the best prileganiye of the gate to walls it is possible to undermine it from an end face. It is better to grind off a small flat file. We define limits of excess of metal on a gleam, having marked them with a pencil.

Before assembly we are convinced that gates do not klinit (especially it important for the second camera) – if necessary we adjust them the persistent screw, and new screws of fastening of gates kontry, rasklepyvy a carving.

We stop persistent screws, unclenching their cut.

Assembling the carburetor, we change the damaged and deformed laying.

At installation of a cover on the case of the carburetor we are convinced that the float does not concern walls of the float-operated camera.

Tightening screws of fastening of a cover, do not make excessive efforts in order to avoid deformations.
Having installed the carburetor on the engine, we check idling turns, if necessary we regulate their screw quantities. We recommend to check also concentration of CO-CH in the fulfilled gases.
