3.6. Replacement of maslootrazhatelny caps of the mechanism of gas distribution

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

We remove the case of bearings assembled with the camshaft and levers of valves (see Replacement of the camshaft and levers of valves).
We turn out spark plugs. We remember position of the runner of the distributor of ignition. We change caps of cylinders which pistons are in VMT (at first the 1st and 4th, and then, having turned a bent shaft on 1800, in the 2nd and 3rd). For this purpose...

... we insert between the piston and a plate of the valve (on which we change a cap) a bar from soft metal, with a diameter about 8 mm. As a last resort it is possible to use the screw-driver.

Navorachivayem on a hairpin of fastening of the case of bearings a nut. We start capture of "rassukharivatel" under a nut.

We squeeze "rassukharivatel" of a spring of the valve and tweezers we take crackers.

We remove a plate...

... external and internal springs...

... and also top...

... and lower basic washers.

By the screw-driver it is hooked and we remove a maslootrazhatelny cap from the directing plug.

It is possible to remove a maslootrazhatelny cap also special nippers.

Not to damage a working edge of a new cap, we put on the plastic plug a valve core. It is on sale in set with maslootrazhatelny caps.

We oil a working edge of a new cap engine and we put on it a valve core.

The tweezers shot the plastic plug and through a mandrel napressovyvay a cap with the directing plug.

We assemble the gas distribution mechanism in the return sequence.
Before installation of the camshaft, turning a bent shaft, we return the distributor runner in a starting position. At the same time the tag of a pulley of a bent shaft will appear opposite to a long tag on a camshaft drive cover (see Adjustment of a gap between levers and cams of the camshaft).
After full assembly of the mechanism of gas distribution we regulate thermal gaps in the drive of valves.
