Description of a design

The car is equipped with two brake systems – working and parking. The worker has the hydraulic drive and provides braking of the car during the movement, the second is, as a rule, used during the parking and has the mechanical drive.

The working brake system consists of two separate contours of the drive of lobbies and back brake mechanisms. At failure of one of contours of the second allows, though with smaller efficiency, to slow down the car. Both contours work independently from each other.

The working system includes pedal knot, the main brake cylinder with a tank and the vacuum amplifier, the regulator of pressure of back brakes, brake mechanisms of forward and back wheels with working cylinders and pipelines.

Brake mechanisms of forward wheels – disk. Basic elements of each of mechanisms – a brake disk, a support with two working cylinders and two brake shoes.

Brake mechanisms of back wheels – drum with two-piston wheel cylinders and automatic adjustment of a gap between blocks and a drum. A basic element of the mechanism of automatic adjustment – steel spring cutting rings. They are inserted with the tightness providing effort of shift on a cylinder mirror not less than 35 kgfs that exceeds effort of coupling springs of brake shoes. At wear of brake slips persistent rings move at a wear size. In case of damage of a mirror of cylinders of a ring can "sour" and pistons will lose mobility. In this case we replace cylinders.

The main brake cylinder of two-way, has two pistons, fastens to the case of the vacuum amplifier on two hairpins. Cavities of the main cylinder are connected by hoses to the feeding tank. In a cover of a tank the sensor of insufficient level of brake fluid is installed.

The hydraulic actuator of brakes of back wheels switched consistently on pressure regulator reducing pressure in a hydraulic actuator at reduction of load of the back bridge. It prevents blocking of back wheels and a drift of a back axis of the car.

The drive of the parking brake system – mechanical, hummock, on brake mechanisms of back wheels. It consists of the lever, a forward cable, the equalizer, a back cable and the lever of the manual drive of blocks. The parking brake system has to hold the car on a bias of 25%.
