Description of a design

Steering consists of the steering mechanism and the steering drive.

The steering mechanism includes a steering wheel, a steering shaft, a worm reducer and details of fastening.

The steering wheel is fixed by a nut on the top shlitsevy end of a steering shaft. On a wheel the switch of sound signals closed by a plastic cover is installed.

The lower part of a steering shaft is connected to the shlitsevy end of a shaft of a reducer by means of a shlitsevy tip and a coupling bolt. The top part of a steering shaft rotates in the needle bearings fixed in an arm of fastening of a shaft. On the plastic plug understeering switches are installed.

The arm of a shaft of a wheel is fixed on a body by two nuts and two screws with srezny heads. In a nest of an arm the ignition switch with the blocking mechanism is installed.

The design of an arm allows to change a shaft inclination down for compensation of a deviation of coaxiality of a steering shaft and a shaft of a worm.

The arm and the top part of a steering shaft are closed by plastic casings.

The case of a reducer of the steering mechanism is fixed by three bolts on the left longeron of a body in an engine compartment.

Between a case and a longeron washers which selection of thickness regulate deviations of coaxiality of a steering shaft and a shaft of a worm across are established.

In a reducer case on two folding ball bearings the worm who enters gearing with a bipod shaft roller is established.
The axial gap in bearings is regulated by selection of laying between a case and a cover.

The shaft of a bipod rotates in two bronze plugs pressed in a case. On the top end of a shaft of a bipod the roller, and on lower, on conic vents – a bipod of the steering mechanism is established dvukhgrebnevy. Depth gearing of a roller with a worm is regulated by the screw installed in the top cover of a case.

The steering drive consists of three drafts, a bipod, an arm of the pendular lever and rotary levers of pins.

On the ends of integral average draft spherical hinges for connection with the pendular lever and a bipod of the steering mechanism are installed. Side drafts cutting, consist of two parts connected among themselves by the carving coupling. Couplings are fixed on drafts by coupling collars. At rotation of the carving coupling length of draft and, respectively, a convergence of wheels of the car changes.

In tips of drafts spherical hinges for connection with levers of rotary pins, a bipod of the steering mechanism and the pendular lever are installed.

The arm of the pendular lever is fixed by two bolts on the right longeron of a body, in an engine compartment. In an arm two plastic plugs in which the lever axis rotates are installed.

The angle of rotation of wheels is limited by two emphasis on a bipod which at the maximum turns of a steering wheel rests against the reducer case.
