12. Forward suspension bracket
Elements of a forward suspension bracket
Description of a design
Forward suspension bracket independent, two-lever, with a screw cylindrical spring, the telescopic hydraulic shock-absorber and the stabilizer of cross stability.
The axis of the lower levers is fixed by two bolts on a cross-piece which in turn fastens to forward longerons. Between an axis and a cross-piece two packages of remote washers and adjusting laying setting corners of a longitudinal and cross inclination of an axis of turn of a forward wheel are installed. As an axis of the top levers serves the bolt passing through a mudguard rack. Levers on axes turn on rubber-metal hinges. To levers on spherical hinges the rotary fist fastens. On a pin of a rotary fist on two roller conic bearings the wheel nave with a brake disk is established. The nut of fastening of a nave of the right wheel with the left carving also has marking in the form of points at an end face.
Springs of a forward suspension bracket – cylindrical type, rest the top end through a basic cup with rubber laying against a mudguard rack, and lower – against a basic cup of the lower lever.
Shock-absorbers are located in springs and fasten a rod to a body through rubber pillows, and a case eye – to the lower lever via the rubber-metal hinge.
The stabilizer of cross stability (the torsion from spring steel) is intended for reduction of a side list of the car at turns. It fastens through rubber pillows the central part to forward longerons of a body, and the ends – to the lower levers of a suspension bracket.
