11.5. Replacement of a cuff of the leading gear wheel

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

The damaged cuff can be replaced, without removing a reducer from the car. For this purpose, having hung out the back bridge, we merge oil from a case, we remove wheels and brake drums, we bring half shafts out of gearing with differential gear wheels. We disconnect the driveshaft from a flange of the leading gear wheel and we take him aside.
We define the moment of a provorachivaniye of a shaft of the leading gear wheel for what:

... on a neck of a flange it is reeled densely up in several turns strong thread and we fix to it a dynamometer. The effort at which the flange will begin to rotate evenly increased by neck radius, will give value of the required moment. We write down its value.

Having inserted two bolts into openings of a flange and keeping it an assembly shovel from a pro-collar, a key "on 27" we turn off a nut and …

… we remove a flange from shliyets of a shaft of the leading gear wheel of the main transfer.

Sliding passatizha we take a cuff.

Easy blows of the hammer through a piece of a pipe of suitable diameter we press a new cuff, previously having covered its landing surface with Litol-24 lubricant.

We establish a new nut of a flange and a dynamometer key gradually we tighten it till the moment within 12–26 кгс.м, periodically checking effort of a provorachivaniye of a shaft a dynamometer.

If the initial effort was more or equally to 2,9 kgfs (that corresponds to the moment 6 кгс.см), then we tighten a nut before obtaining effort of a provorachivaniye of a flange to 0,5–1,0 kgfs (1–2 кгс.см) bigger, than initial.
If the initial effort was less than 2,9 kgfs (6 кгс.см), then a nut we tighten before obtaining effort of a provorachivaniye 2,9–4,3 kgfs (6–9 кгс.см).
If when tightening a nut the moment of a provorachivaniye exceeded 9 кгс.см, then we sort a reducer and we replace the expansion plug.
