11.4. Removal and installation of the back bridge

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

We hang out a back part of the car, we remove wheels. We substitute an adjustable support or a jack under a reducer and slightly we load a suspension bracket. We disconnect the driveshaft from a flange of the leading gear wheel of the main transfer (see Replacement of cardan transfer).
We disconnect a hose of a hydraulic actuator of brakes from a steel tube (see Replacement of a back brake hose), having muffled it a stopper for prevention of leak of liquid from system of brakes. We disconnect a branch of a back cable of the parking brake from the equalizer (see Removal of knots and adjustment of the parking brake system). We disconnect from an arm on a bridge beam draft of the drive of the regulator of pressure of back brakes (see Replacement and adjustment of the regulator of pressure).
We disconnect the top ends of shock-absorbers and a bar of a back suspension bracket from a body (see Replacement of details of a back suspension bracket).
We remove from a beam of a spring and shock-absorbers. We disconnect longitudinal and cross bars from arms on a bridge beam.
It is possible to remove the back bridge and in a different way, having disconnected bars and shock-absorbers not from a body, and from the bridge.

We lower a jack and we remove the back bridge together with details of a back suspension bracket.

Installation of the back bridge is carried out as it should be, the return to removal.
After dismantling of the back bridge with removal of a reducer and half shaft it is possible to define lack of deformation of a beam visually. It is enough to take a detached view in an empty beam of a flange – the centers of openings for half shafts have to be located on one line. The slightest curvature is noticeable approximately. The bent beam needs to be replaced.
